Hi, I’m Morgan — an 12-year-old baker, entrepreneur, and the proud owner of Morgan’s Sweet Treats. I launched my baking journey in 2024 with a simple goal: to spread joy through homemade goodies. What started as a fun experiment in the kitchen quickly turned into a real business. I sold my treats at two local markets and even hosted a driveway bake sale, where neighbors and passersby couldn’t resist stopping for a taste.

 

Every cookie, cupcake, and brownie I make is baked with care, creativity, and a sprinkle of ambition. I source my ingredients from local, sustainable suppliers whenever possible, because I believe that supporting our community and protecting the planet makes every treat even sweeter. From fresh Ontario eggs to seasonal fruits, I choose quality ingredients that reflect my values.

 

But Morgan’s Sweet Treats isn’t just about baking — it’s about giving back. I’m proud to support The Cambridge Humane Society, donating part of my earnings to help animals in need. I care deeply about the well-being of pets and believe that kindness should extend beyond the kitchen. Whether it’s helping a furry friend find a home or making someone’s day with a warm cookie, I put love into everything I do.

 

This is just the beginning of my baking adventure, and I’m excited to see how far my sweet treats can go!

🍪 Why I Started Morgan’s Sweet Treats Hi there! I’m Morgan, a 12-year-old baker and the proud creator of Morgan’s Sweet Treats—where everything is Handmade With Love 💕 I’ve been baking since I was basically in diapers. My mom and I used to spend hours in the kitchen mixing, measuring, and sneaking cookie dough (shhh!). Baking quickly became my happy place. As I got older, I started making cupcakes, cookies, and brownies all by myself—no grown-ups needed! I baked so much that my family and friends couldn’t keep up with eating it all. That’s when someone said, “Morgan, you should turn this into a business!” And just like that, Morgan’s Sweet Treats was born. I didn’t start this just to sell yummy desserts (although that part is awesome). I started it because I love seeing people smile when they take a bite of something sweet. There’s something magical about handing someone a treat and watching their face light up. That’s why every cookie, cupcake, and brownie I make is truly Handmade With Love—because it’s not just about baking, it’s about spreading joy. Thanks for being here!
